JPAB has just launched a specialized service desk, aimed at monitoring legal issues associated with longevity.
Aware of the reality of the demographic scenario of the ageing of the population and seeing this as a positive sign of civilization’s progress, JPAB has launched a specialized service Desk that focuses on the various legal issues associated with Longevity.
The aim of this Desk is to work on Longevity from an ecosystem - network - perspective, bringing together various areas of law and going beyond the traditional approach to wealth management and succession, often associated with elder law.
With Desk Longevity +, JPAB takes on the defense of a positive culture of ageing, predisposing itself to work, in an integrated and consistent manner, the various dimensions that this "living more" matters, fostering relations between generations, autonomy, quality of life, health, life purposes and the challenges and projects of the elderly.
Positioned as true activists of this longevity, with quality of life, the Longevity + Desk intends to respond to the challenges that arise in the most varied areas, such as housing and urban planning, technology, health, consumption, lifelong learning or investment management and preparation.
This Desk also aims to help citizens to prepare for their longevity in a timely and careful manner and to support companies that wish to adapt their human resources policies and their business segments to an integrating and anti-ageist vision, thus contributing to an increasingly dynamic "longevity economy".
JPAB also aspires to be able to contribute to the implementation of public policies in these matters.
The head of the Desk is partner Joana Silva Aroso.
